Vietnam will officially adopt the AANZFTA Second Protocol from 22nd August 2025. This involves a change to the documentation requirements, with the use of the different Second Protocol certificate format that is already used for other countries (e.g. Malaysia, Singapore).
TradeWindow Origin customers can just submit to Origin as normal and the appropriate template will be selected based on the destination country. Prodoc Support team will be looking to update preview forms to show the corresponding column headings.
Chamber of Commerce customers will need to use the Second Protocol form on any shipments to Vietnam under AANZFTA. If you already have the AANZFTA you likely have both versions available, so just make sure to change any Form Defaults to use the second protocol for your customers in Vietnam.
