Overview

A major advantage of using Prodoc systems is that our support team have tools that allow them to produce Prodoc forms, a task which is often delegated to development teams on software solutions, which makes for cost effective automation of manual document production for authorising bodies who have their own forms to fill.

Put simply, if you find you have to manually fill out forms, whether physical or digital (PDF), and supply them, Prodoc Support can possibly make those for you.

Often these kinds of documents can be overlooked for Prodoc as they're not generated by the exporter, but by a third party. Prodoc's ability to replicate the look and layout of documents can save both time, money and mistakes.

Charges

New forms carry fixed form charges per page, advanced logic, or field additions to Prodoc for new data not otherwise held may add a time charge component. Please see your maintenance agreement for current pricing, which can also be seen at the bottom of the TradeWindow website:

Savings

As you're aware, forms in Prodoc are generated dynamically and near instantaneously from shipments using shipment data, in some cases third parties may have their own documents you must fill and these introduce both use of staff time repeating information that already exists in a Prodoc shipment, but also run the risk of introducing human error unnecessarily.

Documentation in Prodoc can save both in time and actual consequential monetary loss in the event of errors, often well in excess of the cost of the form.
