NZ Chamber of Commerce system changes - updated

Modified on Wed, 10 Dec at 3:21 PM

The below changes have been postponed with a new planned rollout on the evening of Wednesday 14th January 2026.  We are working with Auckland Business Chamber to test these changes prior to rollout and understand any limitations of software changes that will be required on the Prodoc side.

Original bulletin follows:

New Zealand Chambers of Commerce are planning to change their digital systems this week on the evening of 10th December from the current vendor essCert to an in-house platform.  From 11th December the new Chamber system would be used for all requests.  The TradeWindow Prodoc team are communicating with the Auckland Business Chamber on this changeover.

Information from the Chamber is that the specification is intended to be compatible with existing messages, requiring only a change of email address on the day.  At this stage we have not successfully tested this from Prodoc, having some issues with the format of the responses that may mean Prodoc is unable to process them without a future software update.

On the day of the cutover any Certificates of Origin sent to Chamber of Commerce will need to be directed to a new email address.  This will require some setup changes to the existing electronic messages and updates to current shipments.  As we continue to test the connection we will update this page with information about the work required, cost and process to follow.
