Microsoft has announced that the legacy Remote Desktop application for Windows will be retired on 27 March 2026. As part of this change, Microsoft is replacing it with the Windows App, which is now the supported method for accessing remote desktops and applications.
This information is for Prodoc Cloud users only.
What does this mean for you?
If you currently use the Microsoft Remote Desktop app to access Prodoc, you will need to migrate to the Windows App to ensure uninterrupted access after the retirement date.
This change is driven by Microsoft and applies to all organizations using Remote Desktop services.
What action is required?
