Postponement of NZ Chamberdocs System Rollout

Following an unsuccessful initial rollout to a small pilot group of customers, the transition to the new ChamberDocs system has been postponed. During this pilot phase, all submissions to the new platform were unsuccessful due to account and user‑related configuration issues. As a result, the pilot customers are being moved back to the existing essCert process to ensure continuity of service.


From a technical standpoint, our team did not identify any system‑level issues, and our findings were consistent with the successful results observed during pre‑deployment testing.


We are working with the Auckland Business Chamber to review the onboarding process and establish a revised rollout plan. A new deployment date, likely with a smaller pilot group, will be confirmed once the necessary preparations are complete.


In the meantime, customers should continue to submit Certificates of Origin using the current essCert process. We will provide further updates as soon as they become available.
