NZ Meat Board new QMS rollout - live

Modified on Mon, 2 Nov at 10:17 AM

Update 02/11/2026

The new QMS rollout went as planned and is now live.  Refer to the NZ Meat Board - Quota Certificate requests page in our Knowledge Base for information on using the new messages.  Your old messages should have been replaced over the weekend provided you approved the change ahead of that.

What's happening?

New Zealand Meat Board (NZMB) move to their new Quota Management System (QMS) on 1st November.

If you're using the existing Prodoc QMS integration you should have been contacted already, and if you approved the work then the new messaging is already loaded into your Prodoc system.

On the weekend of 31st October/1st November we will update your system to use the new messages and and turn off the old messages.

What will I see in Prodoc?

Each NZMB EDI message you had previously will be replaced by a new message, complete with a corresponding preview form that will be displayed when you select it.

Your new exporter account will have been pre-loaded into Prodoc in your Exporter setup.

Wherever you previously added the EDI forms, the new forms will now appear.  Linked tasks and validation rules will be transferred across.

The functions of the new system are explained in this page of our knowledge base.

Do I need to do anything?

If you're intending to use the new QMS system and haven't been contacted, please reach out to customer-success@tradewindow.io and we'll advise accordingly.

If you have any custom logic that determines when the new forms are added or have Home screen panels or other reports that refer to the old EDI messages then these will likely require further setup not included in the standard rollout.  Please contact us with details of what needs updating and we can advise.
